BMW R69S for SaleThe BMW R69S for sale is a very popular model of motor cycle. It was manufactured from 1960 to 1969. There were other similar models manufactured around the same time. There was the R69 and the R69US. The R69 was manufactured prior to the R69S, from 1955 to 1960. The R69 US was only produced in 1968 and 1969. These bikes were sport bikes with lots of power and high compression. They did come with the lug to support a side car, but this was eliminated from the R69US version. Though they support side cars, its not a common occurrence to see one attached.

These specs may be considered unimpressive by today’s standards, but these bikes are at least 40 years old these days! They are practically classic antique motorcycles at this point. So their performance is still impressive, and they are beautiful pieces of equipment.

BMW R69S for Sale

There were only 11,317 R69s’ produced. They were all originally sold at an average price of 1564 dollars. Many of them are still on the road today, and now they have their own special niche cultural appeal in the bike world. People are always looking to snatch up old bikes of this model and restore them if they are damaged or not working. This bike is essentially the Rolls Royce of the bike world. It is a status symbol to own one, and an even bigger status symbol to have restored one!
